  • Brett and Amy started Pastoring Perry Assembly January of 2005. Before moving to Perry, OK, they Pastored Youth in two different youth groups for a total of eight years in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Altus, Oklahoma. They have been married for over 20 years and have four great kids who are the highlight of their lives. Their oldest is Alyssa, followed by Braden, then Emma, and last, but certainly not least, Carson.

    Brett and Amy hold a high value on helping people grow to reach their place in the Kingdom of God. They are all about people discovering who they are in the Kingdom and then releasing them to fulfill their purpose in the earth.

    Amy also serves as Perry Assembly’s Worship Leader and has often been told that she has the voice of an angel. She is passionately in love with her “Abba” Father and loves to worship Him. She desires for others to know how much Abba loves them by showing them His love. Over the years she has served as Children’s Pastor and other roles involved with ministering to children. You will also find her out in the market place daily doing ministry as a Teller at Exchange Bank. Hands and Feet of Jesus wherever she goes!

    Along with Pastoring Perry Assembly, Brett is active in developing and coaching leaders in all different capacities from inside the church to the market place. Also, he puts a lot of time volunteering with our local little leagues, coaching his kids and teams full of others in sports. If you want to see him cry, succeed at something; his passion is seeing people succeed.

  • Lelonnie Hibberd brings over 45 years of experience in children’s ministry and in teaching children up to age 12 across Canada, the UK, and the USA. Her extensive background includes writing Bible curriculum for children, serving as an Elementary School Chaplain for 13 years, and authoring books for both children and adults on a range of Christian themes.

    Together with her husband Mike, Lelonnie shares a deep passion for walking with God alongside children—partnering with the next generation to see them love the Lord and His Word with all their heart and strength. Throughout their years of ministry, they have witnessed how the Holy Spirit can grant children age-appropriate revelation of the weighty truths of Scripture just as powerfully as He does for adults. They see their role as translators, conveying the richness of God’s knowledge in language that children can understand and embrace.

    Most importantly, Lelonnie and Mike live with the conviction that every generation must live as though it were the last. To walk with the urgency and impact of the early apostles means living with eyes on the earth and hearts set on the return of Jesus. It’s this vision—of preparing the way for the returning King—that empowers them to live more prayerfully, fruitfully, and with eternal purpose.

  • Jacquie has experience teaching Bible classes to Kindergarten though second grade and is passionate about leading children to see and know Jesus. The heart behind the Perry Assembly nursery is to provide the highest standard of care and safety for the children - yet not merely ‘babysitting’ or childcare alone. We are passionate about teaching even our youngest children about who God is, and through worship, prayer, stories and simple teaching with crafts - we want to allow the children to come to Jesus. (Matt.19:4)

    Our nursery curriculum is focused on the attributes of God, so children can begin to learn who God is and what He is like. From the youngest babies - up through toddler age, we hope to provide an atmosphere that is safe, welcoming, fun and an engaging way to begin to hear the gospel.
